David M. Brandenburg

Artistic Director

David M. Brandenburg co-founded the Hamptons Shakespeare Festival in 1996 and since then has created and directed theater and educational programs reaching tens of thousands of people from eastern Long Island to New York City.  David is also a composer and music director with over twenty years of experience writing for concert performance, theater, video, and television.  He served as Music Director of the Yale Jazz Ensemble for eleven years, and previously worked for Meet The Composer and the National Dance Institute. David has degrees from Yale College and Teachers College, Columbia University. www.davidmbrandenburg.com

Tracy Bersley

Associate Artistic Director

As a director/choreographer, Tracy Bersley has worked at such institutions as Lincoln Center, The Public, Second Stage, Primary Stages, McCarter Theatre, Williamstown, and many burgeoning Off-Broadway companies, such as The Civilians, Red Bull Theatre, and The Keen Company, to name a few. As a professor, she has taught, directed, and/or choreographed at NYU/Tisch School of the Arts, Purchase College, Columbia/Barnard, Yale, and Juilliard. Tracy received her MFA in Directing from Syracuse, currently teaches at Princeton University and CAP 21, is a member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, and is a Drama League Fellow.

Christopher Oden

Associate Artistic Director

Chris has been a professional actor, director and theater educator for nearly 30 years. Favorite Shakespearean credits include The Tempest (Prospero, The Acting Company), Much Ado About Nothing (Benedick – Illinois Shakespeare Festival), and As You Like It (Touchstone – Shakespeare Santa Cruz) among many others. He was a resident company member for seven years at the Commonweal Theater Company in Minnesota, and associate professor of Theater at Luther College in Iowa. He holds an MFA in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater.

Michael Nathanson

Producing Artist

Michael’s many Film/TV acting credits include 30 Rock, Law & Order, Rescue Me, Onion News Network, the upcoming Generation Um (with Keanu Reeves), Young Adult (dir. Jason Reitman) and the award-winning short Time Freak. Michael has appeared in multiple national commercials including recent ads for FedEx, McDonalds and Advil. He has also worked at countless regional and NYC theaters, was a Co-Adapter of the Off-Broadway production of H4 (an adaptation of Shakespeare’s King Henry IV, Parts I & II) and appeared as Timon, Ed & Zazu in the Broadway National Tour of The Lion King. www.michaelnathanson.net

Morgan Vaughan

Producing Artist

Morgan received her M.F. A. in Acting from The Shakespeare Theatre Company’s Academy for Classical Acting at The George Washington University in DC and a Certificate in Acting Shakespeare from RADA. Regional credits include “Always, Patsy Cline” (Patsy); “A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline” (Patsy); “Proof” (Catherine); “The Cripple of Inishmaan” (Helen); “Oliver!” (Nancy); and “Noises Off!” (Brooke/Vicki). She is the eponymous lead singer in the Morgan Vaughan Band, performing eclectic rock, country and jazz standards.

Tristan has extensive training in Contemporary Acting, Classical Acting, Text, Voice, Mask and Movement. He holds an M.F.A. in Acting from The Shakespeare Theatre Company's Academy for Classical Acting at The George Washington University in DC. He also studied acting at The Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York City and The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. He has appeared at Ensemble Studio Theatre Los Angeles, Classical Acting Company, Hampton Theatre Company, in Independent Films, and on television.
