HSF’s Theater-for-Young-Audiences program brings live professional productions of Shakespeare’s plays to schools and theaters. This is Shakespeare as you’ve never seen him before! Specially designed for student audiences, these exciting one-hour productions are highly portable, and feature small casts of versatile and talented actors. Since 2006, we have performed for thousands of students from Montauk to Manhattan.

For school performances, we offer optional workshops in individual classrooms on a variety of topics from Shakespeare’s language to movement, improvisation, and performance techniques. These can be tailored to the needs of the classroom and feature a cast member from the production. We can also combine school performances with our more in-depth Shake It Up! artist residencies.
